We have been making lots of stop motion animation lately and I thought that it would be good to do a series on basic animation techniques to help you make some cool stop motion for yourselves.
In this video, we will look at how to make our Lego figurine walk forward.
What you need:
Lego board
Lego figurine
iPhone / iPad with a camera or a camera
Tripod
Stop motion software
Lights
How to make the Lego figurine walk forward
Step 1. Starting position.
Click the red button to capture a frame.
Step 2. Raise left leg and the right arm.
step 3. Place the leg down and now raise the right leg.
Move the opposite arm up slightly.
Step 4. Back to starting position.
Step 5. Raise right leg and left arm.
Step 6. Raise left leg up and right arm.
Step 7. Back to starting position.
Keep following these steps to move the figure forward.
